Welcome to the Genesis Feminist Learning Through Liturgy: Year B! I’m so excited to be going on this journey with you. I like to think of Catholicism as a culture, not just a religion. Yes, we have our worship but there is so much to being Catholic. We also have language, art, music, history, and so much more, these things help form who we are as a community of God’s people. This course is designed to take us throughout the entire year, from the First Sunday of Advent all the way through Christ the King. I know that sounds a bit daunting, but there is so much to learn about the culture of Catholicism through our liturgical calendar, and I’m here to support you!
TheGenFem community is one of love, so crack open your bible, grab a cup of tea, and log into social media so we can dive through Catholicism together! Be sure to subscribe to The Genesis Feminist blog and YouTube channel. You can log on at any point and ask questions or make your concerns known.
My greatest prayer for this course is for all of us to feel supported, encouraged, and strengthened by the Lord and one another. I pray for you daily, that Christ use this course as an instrument to draw his children closer to his most Sacred Heart. May the Lord bless you and keep you.

I’m Lexie, a blogger and lover of Sacred Scripture. At the age of 19, my spiritual journey started with just me and the pink bible my grandparents gave me for graduation. Three years later, on the Feast of Christ the King, I received all three Sacraments of Initiation. It was the best day of my life!
Fairly soon after my baptism, my honeymoon phase with God ended and it was time to get down to business. That's why I began blogging, filming YouTube videos, creating ebooks, and ecourses. My faith has been an instrumental part of my life and it has helped me grow so much. I find there are a lot of misunderstandings about Catholicism, so I hope my courses will help people come to a greater understanding of what we do and why.
